2012 PAYG WITHHOLDING VARIATION

We are commencing the preparation of the Applications for the Variation of PAYG Tax Withheld from payments for the 2012 Financial Year.

The purpose of this application is to reduce the amount of PAYG Tax withheld from payments made to you by your employer. This reduction in tax withheld each pay period during the year replaces the significant tax refund that you would have otherwise received due to your negatively geared investment or large work related expense claims.

If you would like us to prepare this application for you, please forward the following information to our office:

• Copy of your latest payslip
• The following information regarding your employer:
  • ABN
  • Business Name
• The following information regarding your payroll office:
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Your Payroll/Employee Number
• Estimated Gross Wages for the 2012 financial year - if you expect a pay increase during the 2012 financial year, please factor this into your calculation
• Pay frequency (i.e. weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
• Estimated Rental Income for the 2012 financial year
• Estimate of your spouse’s Taxable Income (if applicable)
• Reasonable estimate of expenses (i.e. work related, self education, income protection, donations etc.)
• Reasonable estimate of expenses relating to rental property (i.e. interest, agents fees, repairs & maintenance etc.)

Upon receiving the above information, we will commence the preparation of your application & mail it to you after its completion for your signature.

If you would like your variation to apply from 1 July 2011, please forward this information to our office AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
